The Saturday Club will award the 2017 Philanthropy Grants to five organizations at the April 4th membership meeting. The funds will be used to establish and enhance programs that support women, children and families in the greater Philadelphia area.

On April 1st, 2017, The Saturday Club will host the second annual Saturday Club Shuffle 5K and Kids Race, beginning at the clubhouse and continuing on a course through Wayne’s beautiful downtown business district and historical residential neighborhoods. All area runners, walkers, families, kids and spectators are welcome.

The Saturday Club will host its second annual Handbag Bingo event on January 26th, sponsored by Malvern’s Posh Collections. This sold out event will support women’s and children’s charities and all proceeds raised will go towards helping these charities in and around the greater Philadelphia area.

On January 10th 2017, The Saturday Club inducted eighteen new members. These new members are excited to support the mission of the club, and provide philanthropic efforts to women’s and children’s charities in the greater Philadelphia area.

On November 15th, The Saturday Club hosted it’s annual holiday market at their historic clubhouse in Wayne, PA. The event featured local and national vendors, with an exclusive selection of home decor, jewelry, accessories and children’s gifts.

On October 7th 2016, The Saturday Club will begin it’s 25th year offering social skills for boys and girls in third through sixth grade. The Saturday Club Cotillion program promotes personal growth, confidence and character, thus creating a positive influence in its participants.

On April 12th, 2016, The Saturday Club presented its annual philanthropy grants to Supportive Older Women’s Network, Women’s Resource Center, and Fred’s Footsteps. The funds will be used to establish and enhance programs that support women, children and families in the greater Philadelphia area.

On April 9th, 2016 The Saturday Club hosted it’s first Shuffle 5K and Kid’s Race in Wayne, PA. Sponsored by Main Line Parent Magazine and Nudy’s Cafe, the event attracted more than 100 runners, walkers, families and children that helped to support the philanthropic efforts of our historic club.

On Thursday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m., we are very proud to announce that we will again have the opportunity to host Radnor native, and Radnor High School alum, Kelly Corrigan, as she promotes the paperback release of her New York Times bestselling memoir Glitter and Glue. (Ticket purchases will support The Saturday Club and include a paperback copy of Glitter and Glue.) We look forward to hearing Corrigan speak about her experiences and her latest novel, answer questions and sign books during the event.

A family-oriented contest aimed at individuals and families with an interest in entering the entertainment industry as well as those with a special interest in showcasing their talents, the Main Line Talent Show™ will be held on April 25, 2015 at The Rotwitt Theater at McShain Performing Arts Center at Rosemont College in Rosemont, PA. The event is presented by MetroKids magazine and produced by The Saturday Club. Proceeds will benefit The Saturday Club and its Children’s Charity Fund.

  • The Saturday Club Cotillion Program Returns For Its 24th Season Offering Social Skills For Boys and Girls in Third Through Sixth Grade

    The Saturday Club is pleased to announce that its successful Cotillion program will begin its 24th season on Friday, October 10, 2014. The program, open to boys and girls in third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades, will once again be taught by instructors from Jon D. Williams Cotillions, a nationally recognized dance and social skills education program.

    On Saturday, April 5th, 39 finalists in 28 acts competed in the first ever Main Line Talent Show™ for cash prizes up to $500 and the chance to appear on the cover of MetroKids magazine. Created by The Saturday Club and presented by MetroKids, the Main Line Talent Show™ was held in The Rotwitt Theater at the McShain Performing Arts Center at Rosemont College.

  • The Saturday Club Celebrates 127 Years of Service

    The Saturday Club celebrated its 127th year of service to the local community at its historic clubhouse in Wayne. One of the oldest continuously operating women’s organizations in the country, The Saturday Club was founded in March 1886. The evening began with a social event followed by a champagne toast to kick off the regular monthly membership meeting. Special guests from Freeman Auction House, Sam Freeman and jewelry expert Maddy McCauley, presented to the group about Freeman’s’ Auction House and the auction business.

    The Saturday Club will be celebrating its 127th year at its historic clubhouse in Wayne on March 12, 2013. The evening will begin with a social event at 6pm followed by a champagne toast at 7:30pm. The regular monthly membership meeting will begin promptly afterwards followed by guest presenters, Sam Freeman and jewelry expert Maddy McCauley, both of Freeman”s Auction House. The evening is open to all active, intermediate, social, and former members.
