On Thursday, April 24th, our members gathered for one of our most anticipated Community Outreach of the year – our Favorite Things event. While it’s always a fun evening of sharing beauty products, wellness and self-care products, it’s also a meaningful celebration sharing with our community.
Each member brought three of their favorite items: two to exchange with fellow members, and one to donate to Home of the Sparrow – an organization dedicated to supporting women facing homelessness and financial hardship as they work toward stability and independence.
This year, our group came together to donate about 45 different products. From beauty essentials to thoughtful self-care items, each contribution was chosen with care – all with the intention of helping women feel seen, valued and supported.
These donations will go toward Home of the Sparrow’s Mother’s Day shop, where children can “shop” for special gifts for their moms at no cost – creating a meaningful and dignified experience for families during a time that can be especially challenging.
An evening that brings members together while directly supporting women in our community… something we’re proud to be part of!
