Blessing Bags Bring Hope to the Homeless in Philadelphia

The Saturday Club members and their children collected and assembled over 550 ‘blessing bags’ for homeless men and women in the Kensington area of Philadelphia in partnership with AIM Angels In Motion. Each ‘blessing bag’ contained non-perishable food items, hygiene products, pamphlet with essential resources for the homeless and a hand-written note of encouragement. Angels in Motion has been able to increase its presence within the Philadelphia area and deliver its ‘blessing bag’ on a weekly basis thanks to the amazing generosity of volunteers like The Saturday Club.
