HOW DO I MAKE MY TAGS?
Use of The Saturday Club’s Tag Template(s) are required. The new QR system is encouraged yet traditional tags will still be accepted.
OPTION 1: NEW FOR FALL 2026: QR CODE TAG PILOT – LINK HERE.
Announcing our new QR Tagging System! This fall, we’re piloting a new tagging process designed to make check-in, item tracking, and checkout faster and more accurate for both consignors and our volunteers. Each QR code contains key information about your item, allowing us to quickly identify items and process sales more efficiently.
We would love for you to join! Please read full instructions as we work through the new system.
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS AND TAGGING NOTES:
- Enter your Consignor ID.
- Select whether you will be printing on White or Yellow cardstock. If you select Yellow, the option to designate eligible items as Red Dot will appear. (Items priced over $5 are eligible.)
- Enter the required item information:
- Price (whole dollars only)
- Size
- Brand
- Category (Women, Boys, or Girls)
- Once above fields have been completed, the Create Code button will unlock, allowing you to generate the QR code for your tag.
- The Description field is optional at this stage and can be completed before or after generating the QR code. We encourage you to include a brief description (such as dress, jeans, sandals, or blouse) to help identify your item if the tag becomes detached.
- Complete one full sheet at a time. Once a sheet is complete, either hit PRINT and then SAVE as PDF to print later OR go ahead and print.
- Once you have completed a full sheet and either saved or printed it, click on “Clear and Create New Sheet” to begin working on the next set of tags.
IMPORTANT QR TAGGING SYSTEM NOTES:
- Tags can only be printed one page at a time.
- We recommend completing one full page at a time. Once the full sheet is complete, either click PRINT and SAVE as PDF to print later OR go ahead and print.
- NOTE: The Save Progress button saves your work only within your current browser. If you open a different browser type (edge vs. chrome), open a different chrome profile, clear your browser data, or switch devices, your saved information will not be available, and you will need to start again.
- You may make manual updates to a printed tag if needed. However, the price and Red Dot designation are stored within the QR code. If either of these details change after the QR code is generated, the register will read the original information stored in the QR code.
- If you need to change the price or Red Dot status, update the information in the QR Code Tagging System and generate a new tag.
Red Dot Items:
- Consignors printing Yellow Tags may choose to designate eligible items as Red Dot items.
- Items must be priced over $5.
- Red Dot items will not be discounted during the Saturday and Sunday half-price sale.
- The Red Dot designation is stored within the QR code and cannot be updated by handwriting after printing.

ADDITIONAL TIPS FOR EITHER TEMPLATE AND OVERALL TAGGING
Print on bright yellow or white cardstock (based on your registration selection). Your tags will most likely fall off if you use printer paper, and we cannot credit the sale of an item without a tag.
Fill out a tag completely for each item.
- Please make sure your tags are accurate and legible, especially if by hand.
- During the sale, some tags inevitably fall off and completed tags help us reunite lost tags with their items so that you get proper credit for the sale.
How do I prepare my items for the Sale?
1. Tag all Items
- Please use a tagging gun, if possible. Link here.
- A completed tag must be attached via tagging gun or safety pin to the brand tag or size tag of each item.
- Attach tags to the item’s manufacturer brand/size tag, if possible.
- Do not tag through front of clothing, as this can damage the item.
- Make sure every tag is securely attached before drop-off.
Note: Tags are removed at checkout – do not attach the tag to any material that will be damaged when the tag is removed.
Quick tips on tagging non-clothing items:
- Shoes: MUST be attached together with a rubber band or zip ties. There should be only ONE tag per pair of shoes (this can be taped to the sole of one shoe). Children’s shoes can be placed together in one large zip-loc bag and tagged on the outside of the bag. Include the original shoe box if available.
- Jewelry: MUST be enclosed in a sealed plastic bag with a tag taped to the bag or item. Secure sets together using safety pins or a tagging gun.
- Purses & Belts: Use tape or string to secure tags around handles/buckles.
- Please fold all jeans and workout pants. Dress pants and jeans without belt loops should be hung on clip hangers.
- Please fold all children’s pants and leggings.
- Sets and Multi-Piece Items: Secure all pieces together using safety pins, zip ties, or a tagging gun.
2. Fold:
- Jeans
- Workout pants
- Children’s pants and leggings
3. Hang: Everything else!
