Below are some of the more frequently asked questions we receive regarding the Cotillion. If you still have questions after reviewing these, please contact us online or 610.688.9746.
What is your COVID-19 safety protocol?
The Saturday Club is closely monitoring the changing and evolving information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We are working to ensure the safety and well-being of all of those who visit our clubhouse with measures that include regularly deep cleaning our facility between meetings and events and sanitizing high traffic areas. We are following the directives issued by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and our local government. We will continue to monitor health advisories and government directives pertaining to COVID-19.
We will also be following the guidelines of the JDW Cotillion company which can be found here: https://www.cotillion.com/jdw/announcements
All students participating in the cotillion program will be asked to wear a mask. We will provide detailed instructions for pick-up/drop-off prior to the first class. We will sanitize all chairs and common surfaces between the 5:30pm class and the 7pm class.
What is your refund policy?
In the event we cannot run the cotillion program and it is cancelled prior to the first class all registered families will receive a 100% refund!
Is Cotillion just dance classes?
Cotillion is a social education program where children learn social skills and the art of social dance. The program cultivates positive, healthy habits that offer long-term advantages, by teaching respect, courtesy and consideration; how to properly introduce oneself; the importance of dress and appearance; and the basics of table manners and etiquette. Throughout the course of the program, students learn to be comfortable in social situations, communicate better and develop respect and courtesy for the opposite sex.
What is appropriate attire for Cotillion?
Boys are required to dress in coats, ties and hard-soled shoes. Girls are required to wear dresses or skirts with blouses, flats or low heels and white gloves. Sandals, mules and boots are not acceptable footwear for Cotillion.
Where do I purchase white gloves?
This year we ask that all girl registrants find their own gloves. You can find these gloves on Amazon.
Can students with a learning or physical disability participate?
We absolutely welcome all interested students who are of age. Please contact us via phone (610-688-9746) or contact us online in advance of the start of classes so that we may discuss special requirements.
