This past Thursday Sept 19th, The Saturday Club volunteers offered their support to Connect Thru Cancer‘s “Power of Connection” silent auction and cocktail reception at the Desmond Hotel.
Connect Thru Cancer’s mission is to improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their families by providing free services and resources. The organization aims to alleviate the emotional burden associated with cancer and support affected families in their journey towards recovery. They offer a variety of programs, including in-home creative play for children, educational resources for parents with cancer, and peer support programs for both parents and their children.
Our volunteers helped with registration, guided attendees through the auctions, and finished the evening by assisting with checkout. It was such a joy to be part of this special night and to support the incredible work Connect Thru Cancer is doing in our community!
