Our reach doesn’t just stop with our Active membership base volunteering! Keystone members have also been busy throughout November, providing outreach to the community.
An important part of The Saturday Club membership is our Keystone membership; this subgroup consists of long-time members who have dedicated many years to our club and our community. The Keystones support the club with their attendance at our events, service projects and donation drives throughout the year. While Keystone membership does not require volunteer credits, these members continue their generosity and kindness which helps to further the club’s impact and mission.
This month, the Keystone members volunteered to check attendees in at Connect Thru Cancer’s Sip and Shop event on Nov 7th, helping register over 100 participants and fundraising for this organization. This past Friday, they also collected and wrapped gifts for a deserving family of five for their Adopt a Family gift event for Camp Dreamcatcher. In addition to gift wrapping, they sewed and packaged 50 Snowmen Candy Mittens and 30 socks/mitten packages with fruit bars and pouches for child recipients at Patrician Society in Norristown. What a treat!
We appreciate our members of every status and the support they provide to our mission and the community. With the help of our Keystones, we continue to expand our outreach to those in need.
