Members of The Saturday Club came together Wednesday evening to assemble Blessing Bags. The event was a huge success! Participants were able to create over 550 Blessing Bags in under an hour with the help and support of many donations of food, drinks, candy and inspirational notes to fill each bag. The Blessing Bags will be donated to homeless men and women in Philadelphia.
Huge thanks from event chair, Angela Sipe, “A BIG thank you to everyone who came out and assembled bags, to all the kids that came to pitch in and to all of our amazing members and even prospective members who bought food items and made personalized notes to go in the bags. We made 557 bags in less than an hour!”
The Blessing Bags will be picked up and distributed immediately by Angels in Motion, a local non-profit organization helping those struggling with addition and homelessness.
