The 2022-2023 Kindness Coin Jar Charity Recipient is Plaid Pajamas Project
TSC Kids Club Chairs: Lisa Watkinson, Jocelyn Good, Kristin Toto
The Saturday Club Kids Club was created to provide Club members with opportunities to help foster community and introduce charitable giving to children of all ages. It is open to any Active, Intermediate or Keystone member in good standing who has children or grandchildren. Throughout the year, TSC Kids will have the opportunity to participate in some of the Club’s service projects that are near and dear to our hearts. In addition, we will plan and facilitate specific events geared towards children.
At the September 26th Kids Club Kickoff Meeting, children will receive their Kindness Coin Jar to decorate and fill with coins as the year progresses. We’ll also introduce our club year charity and educate the children on ways they can earn coins.
Children earn coins for their jars by completing an act of kindness such as picking up sticks in a neighbor’s yard, helping with the dishes, donating a book to the library, sharing toys with a sibling, etc. The ideas are endless and can easily be tailored to your child’s age and maturity level. At the end of our club year, the TSC Kids Club will donate their collective earnings.
Participation in TSC Kids Club is voluntary and members are free to decide which projects best suit their children and their needs. Member participation in these events is not eligible for additional Club service credits, unless otherwise noted.
2022-2023 TSC Kids Club Events
Some events will be open for a CO volunteer credit, but ALL TSC Kids Club kids are invited to these events. A sign up genius with event details, time & location will be sent for each event as the event date approaches.
