Overview for Prospective Members
If you’re looking for an opportunity to enrich your life through meeting new people and volunteering in your local community, you’ve come to the right place. The Saturday Club is a wonderful place to cultivate life-long friendships while giving back to local women, children and families. In addition to our philanthropic efforts, we offer exciting social events and ways to get member families and friends in on the fun.
We always welcome and invite prospective members to attend a meeting and learn more about who we are and what we do. Membership meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. from September through May, at our historic clubhouse located at 117 West Wayne Avenue in Wayne, Pa. Meeting dates are subject to change, so we encourage all prospective members to confirm meeting dates on our club calendar. New members are inducted twice yearly in January and May, after meeting eligibility requirements.
Attending a meeting, participating in one of our volunteer opportunities, and supporting one of our many philanthropy events is a great way to experience our club and learn more about membership. Come solo or bring a friend and find out what The Saturday Club has to offer!
Eligibility
To be eligible to join The Saturday Club, you must be a woman, 21 years of age or older, have attended at least two membership meetings (before January to be inducted in January, before May to be inducted in May), participated in a volunteer activity and have completed a prospective member application, that’s been reviewed and approved by our Board of Directors.
