WAYNE, PA – August 30, 2018 – The Saturday Club, one of the oldest women’s non-profit organizations in both Pennsylvania and nationwide, today announced registration is open for its 2018 Cotillion program, which begins on Friday, October 5, 2018, at 117 West Wayne Avenue. The program is open to boys and girls in third through sixth grade, and will be taught by instructors from Jon D. Williams Cotillions, a nationally recognized dance and social skills education program.
A Main Line tradition, The Saturday Club’s Cotillion is a social education program where children learn social skills and the art of social dance. The program helps students build a foundation of social awareness for future relationships and career opportunities. Classes are held each fall and are progressive from year-to-year. Instructors work with students based on their individual skill level and needs.
“Cotillion is a time-honored tradition and we are proud to continue to offer the program to Main Line families and children,” said Christine Brunelli, president of The Saturday Club. “Classes provide a safe and fun environment in which students learn to become confident, comfortable and polite in various social situations, as well as build upon skills that contribute to character, improve communication and foster the development of successful relationships.”
2018 Cotillion classes will take place six Friday evenings throughout October and November, including a special two-hour dinner dance program for fifth and sixth grade students on Friday, November 09.
