18 women inducted into organization at January 2017 meeting
WAYNE, PA – January 10, 2017 – The Saturday Club, one of the oldest women’s non-profit
organizations in both Pennsylvania and nationwide, today announced it has inducted 18 new
members for 2017.
The new members include Lauren Ainsworth, Tracey Ambuka, Allie Appel, Teela Decker, Audrey
Groseclose, Leanne Gallagher, Steph Howard, Amy Dymond Kent, Kari Ann Davidson Kent,
Brooke Lawrence, Beth Moore, Debbie Parnes, Cameron Prevost, Sharon Purser, Kimberly Scheetz,
Amada Szulinski, Kristen Tirney and Cathy Wozniak.
“We are thrilled to induct such a large and fabulous group of women to our organization,” said
Candice Holbert, President of The Saturday Club. “We are confident they will make positive
contributions to the Club and help us support our mission of providing philanthropic support to
women’s and children’s charities throughout the Philadelphia region.”
The Saturday Club is among the oldest women’s clubs in both Pennsylvania and nationwide. It
supports local women’s and children’s charities including Women’s Resource Center, Supportive
Older Women’s Network, Fred’s Footsteps and The Radnor ABC House, to name a few. In
addition to philanthropy and direct community service, The Saturday Club hosts events for the local
community at the group’s historic clubhouse in downtown Wayne.
