WAYNE, PA – January 10, 2019 – The Saturday Club, one of the oldest women’s non-profit organizations in both Pennsylvania and nationwide, today announced it inducted 20 new members on Tuesday night, kicking the year off with another new class of local, talented women joining its ranks.
The new members include Kristen Calderon, Lisa Carosella, Alyssa Marland Chmielewski, Kelly Dando, Stephanie Goodwin, Chelsea Harris, Stephanie Harris, Catie Herr, Alexandra Hindle, Paula Holzman, Carrie Kaufman, Megan McFadden, Dana Olive, Debbie Particelli, Anne Pratt, Erica Savini, Caroline Shane, Jen Travaglini, Ann Ware and Lisa Watkinson.
“We are continually impressed each year as we welcome new classes of smart, talented, professional women into The Saturday Club,” said Christine Brunelli, President of The Saturday Club. “As a result, our organization is growing, thriving and, ultimately, able to provide more philanthropic support to area women’s and children’s charities.”
Among the oldest women’s clubs in both Pennsylvania and nationwide, The Saturday Club is dedicated to providing philanthropic support to women’s and children’s charitable organizations via financial support and volunteer service hours. The organization is currently seeking grant applications from 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations that benefit women, children and families in the greater Philadelphia region. In 2018, The Saturday Club awarded grant funding to Adoption Center of Delaware Valley, The Baby Bureau, Foundation for Learning in Tredyffrin/Easttown (FLITE), Gateway Horse Works, TheVillage, and West Philadelphia Alliance for Children (WePAC).
