On Valentine’s Day members of The Saturday Club, along with their little ones, hosted a fun-filled gathering for the residents of Wayne Senior Center. The event began with a friendly game of trivia hosted by one of our members. The kids participated by handing out roses to the winners which helped sweeten the game. Members served a yummy lunch complete with a delicious Valentine dessert and birthday cake to honor some of the Senior’s birthdays.
The Saturday Club looks forward to this event each year as a way to brighten the day of our neighbors who reside at The Wayne Senior Center. It’s been a tradition to bring children along to help pass out special Valentine’s cards and roses as the residents truly appreciate getting to interact with members young and old!
