The Saturday Club is pleased to celebrate our 135th Anniversary with the unveiling of our digitized historical archives!
On October 14th, Member Volunteers of The Saturday Club gathered in the parking lot of our historic Clubhouse to digitize archived photo albums at socially-distanced scanning stations. VP for Communications Alyssa Brown and Archives Committee Chair Céline Elefson Werner organized the event in an effort to begin digitally preserving the 135 years of club history stored in basement closets. This has been a pass-the-baton effort through many administrations and committees over the past several years, culminating at this event.
We are excited to announce you can now explore 135 years of scanned photographs, press clippings, invitations and documents that tell the tale of The Saturday Club and the women who have ‘Dared to Be Wise’ since 1886.
