The Saturday Club Kids kicked off the new club year by cleaning out their personal libraries and donating them to Cradle to Crayons. On Tuesday, September 18, we filled five large containers with the kids’ generosity. We also re-introduced the kindness jars and taught the kids the TSC Kids oath.
After the book collection, we walked across the street for a tour of the newly renovated Radnor Memorial Library. The kids and their moms located the bookcase TSC donated last spring, and listened to Miss Carrie read If You Plant a Seed, a book donated by the Kids Club.
It was a fun afternoon catching up with old friends while helping our local community, and was a great way for some of our youngest Kids Club members to kick off the year.
