The Saturday Club hosted a blood drive at its Clubhouse in Wayne, PA in support of The American Red Cross. More than 50 participants came out to donate throughout the event, which took place from 1:30-6:30pm on Tuesday.
Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood and approximately 36,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day in the U.S. Every donation counts and we are grateful for all of the donors and volunteers who came out to support this cause.
The American Red Cross blood program started in 1940, and currently supplies about 40 percent of the nation’s blood supply. The Saturday Club is honored to be able to help support The American Red Cross and its efforts to help save lives.
