This past weekend, TSC volunteers visited The Baby Bureau warehouse to pack baby bundles for new parents in underserved communities throughout the Philadelphia region. Bundles included a collection of outfits from size NB to 2T, as well as onesies, sleepers, socks, a hat, blankets, bibs, shoes/booties, new rattle, and new baby board book for every recipient. We also partnered with The Nesting House to deliver the bundles, which will serve more than 70 local families.
Volunteers sorted, organized, and created outfits, and packed clothes for the baby bundles. A sincere thank you to those who donated so far, and to our volunteers who put together the bundles with care! Your contributions help make a difference to local families in need of support.
For those who still wish to donate clothing and other needed items, you can drop off items in the bins in front of our clubhouse through September 29th. Gently used baby clothes (size 0-2T) will also be collected during our Consignment Sale, Sept 26th-29th.
